Terms of service
Article 1 – Definitions
In these Terms, the following terms have the following meanings:
- Withdrawal period: the period within which the consumer can exercise their right of withdrawal;
- Consumer: a natural person who does not act in the exercise of a profession or business and who enters into a distance contract with the trader;
- Day: a calendar day;
- Durable medium: any means that allows the consumer or trader to store information addressed personally to them in a way that makes it available for future use in an unalterable form;
- Right of withdrawal: the option for the consumer to withdraw from the distance contract within the withdrawal period;
- Trader: the natural or legal person who offers products to consumers at a distance, in this case Ciriel, operated by Origin Commerce Group LLC;
- Distance contract: a contract concluded between the trader and the consumer within the framework of an organized system for distance selling, using one or more means of distance communication;
- General Terms and Conditions: these Terms of Service.

Article 3 – Applicability
These Terms apply to every offer from the trader and to every distance contract concluded between the trader and the consumer.
Before the distance contract is concluded, the text of these Terms is made available to the consumer electronically in such a way that it can be easily read and stored on a durable medium.
If, in addition to these Terms, specific product terms also apply, the consumer may always rely on the provision that is most favorable to them in the event of a conflict.
If one or more provisions of these Terms are at any time wholly or partially invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force. The invalid provision will be replaced by a provision that approximates the intent of the original as closely as possible.
Situations not covered by these Terms, and any ambiguity in their interpretation, will be assessed in accordance with the spirit of these Terms.
Article 4 – The offer
If an offer has a limited validity period or is subject to conditions, this is explicitly stated in the offer.
The offer contains a complete and accurate description of the products offered, detailed enough to allow the consumer to make a proper assessment. Images used are a true representation of the products. Obvious mistakes or errors in the offer do not bind the trader.
The trader cannot guarantee that the colors shown in the images exactly match the actual colors of the products.
Each offer contains sufficient information to make clear to the consumer what rights and obligations are attached to accepting the offer, in particular:
- the price of the product. Any import duties, customs clearance costs or local taxes charged on delivery are at the expense and risk of the consumer, unless stated otherwise at checkout;
- any shipping costs;
- the manner in which the contract will be concluded and the actions required for this;
- whether or not the right of withdrawal applies;
- the method of payment, delivery and performance of the contract;
- the period for accepting the offer, or the period within which the trader guarantees the price.
Article 5 – The contract
The contract is concluded at the moment the consumer accepts the offer and meets the conditions set.
If the consumer has accepted the offer electronically, the trader immediately confirms receipt of the acceptance electronically. As long as receipt of this acceptance has not been confirmed by the trader, the consumer may withdraw from the contract.
The trader takes appropriate technical and organizational measures to secure the electronic transfer of data and ensures a safe web environment. If the consumer can pay electronically, the trader observes appropriate security measures.
The trader may, within legal limits, verify whether the consumer can meet their payment obligations, as well as all facts and factors relevant to a responsible conclusion of the distance contract. If, on the basis of this verification, the trader has good grounds not to enter into the contract, it is entitled to refuse an order or to attach special conditions to its performance.
With every product, the trader provides the following information in writing or in such a way that the consumer can store it on a durable medium: the address where complaints can be lodged, the conditions under which and the manner in which the right of withdrawal can be exercised, and information about warranties and after-sales service.
Every contract is entered into subject to sufficient availability of the products concerned.
Article 6 – Right of withdrawal
When purchasing products, the consumer has the option to withdraw from the contract without giving reasons within 14 days. This period starts on the day after the consumer, or a third party designated by the consumer, has received the product.
During this period the consumer must handle the product and its packaging with care. The consumer may only unpack or use the product to the extent necessary to assess whether they wish to keep it. If the consumer exercises the right of withdrawal, the product must be returned to the trader with all supplied accessories and, where reasonably possible, in its original condition and packaging, in accordance with the reasonable and clear instructions provided by the trader.
To exercise the right of withdrawal, the consumer must notify the trader by email within 14 days of receipt. After notifying the trader, the consumer must return the product within 14 days. The consumer must be able to prove that the goods were returned in time, for example by means of a proof of postage with tracking.
If the consumer has not notified the trader of their intention to withdraw, or has not returned the product, within the periods above, the purchase is final.
Article 7 – Costs in case of withdrawal
If the consumer exercises the right of withdrawal, the costs of returning the products are borne by the consumer.
If the consumer has paid an amount, the trader refunds this amount as soon as possible and no later than 14 days after the withdrawal, provided the trader has received the product or the consumer has provided sufficient proof of return.
Article 8 – 30-day satisfaction guarantee and returns
8.1 Return period
In addition to the statutory right of withdrawal, Ciriel offers a 30-day satisfaction guarantee on all purchases made through our official website. If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, you may return it within 30 days from the date of delivery for a refund of the purchase price.
8.2 Return conditions
To be eligible for a return under our satisfaction guarantee, the following conditions must be met:
- The product is returned in its original packaging with all accessories and components included;
- The product is in clean condition, free from hair or residue;
- The product does not show signs of use beyond what is reasonably needed to test its functionality, and shows no damage or modifications;
- Proof of purchase is provided (order number, receipt or confirmation email).
8.3 Exceptions
The satisfaction guarantee does not apply in the following circumstances:
- The product shows clear signs of extensive use beyond what would reasonably be expected for testing it;
- The product has been damaged through misuse, accident, or failure to follow the care and safety instructions provided;
- Protective films, seals or packaging have been removed in a way that presents hygiene concerns which prevent resale;
- The return is requested after the 30-day period has expired;
- The product was purchased as part of a bundle and only part of the bundle is returned.
8.4 Return process
To initiate a return:
- Contact our customer support team at support@ciriel.co.uk within the 30-day period;
- Provide your order number and the reason for the return;
- Our support team will send you the return instructions and the return address;
- Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer, unless the return is due to a defective product.
8.5 Refund processing
Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. Approved refunds are processed within 5 business days and issued to the original payment method. Depending on your payment provider, it may take an additional 3 to 10 business days for the refund to appear in your account.
8.6 Defective products
If you receive a defective product, or if your product becomes defective within the warranty period under normal use, contact our support team at support@ciriel.co.uk with details and photos of the defect. Defective products are eligible for repair, replacement or refund at our discretion. Return shipping for defective products is covered by Ciriel.
8.7 Updates to this return policy
Ciriel reserves the right to modify this return policy at any time. Changes will be posted on our website and will not affect purchases made before the change.
Article 9 – Price
During the validity period stated in the offer, the prices of the products offered will not be increased, except for price changes resulting from changes in applicable tax rates.
Price increases within 3 months after the conclusion of the contract are only permitted if they result from statutory regulations or provisions.
The prices stated in the offer are shown in the currency of your selected country or region. Whether taxes are included is indicated at checkout.
Article 10 – Conformity and warranty
The trader guarantees that the products comply with the contract, the specifications stated in the offer, the reasonable requirements of soundness and usability, and the legal provisions and government regulations in force on the date the contract was concluded.
Ciriel products come with a 2-year warranty against manufacturing defects under normal use, counted from the date of delivery. The warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, accident, normal wear and tear, or failure to follow the instructions supplied. To make a warranty claim, contact support@ciriel.co.uk with your order number and a description and photos of the issue.
A warranty provided by the trader, manufacturer or importer does not affect the legal rights and claims the consumer may assert against the trader under the contract.
Article 11 – Delivery and performance
The trader takes the greatest possible care when receiving and processing orders.
The place of delivery is the address the consumer has provided to the trader.
The trader will process accepted orders with due speed and no later than 30 days, unless a longer delivery period has been agreed. If delivery is delayed, or if an order cannot be fulfilled or can only be fulfilled in part, the consumer will be informed no later than 30 days after placing the order. In that case, the consumer has the right to cancel the contract free of charge. Any amount already paid will be refunded within 14 days of cancellation.
If delivery of an ordered product proves impossible, the trader will endeavor to provide a replacement product. It will be clearly stated, at the latest on delivery, that a replacement item is being delivered. The right of withdrawal cannot be excluded for replacement items, and the costs of any return shipment are borne by the trader.
The risk of damage to or loss of products rests with the trader until the moment of delivery to the consumer or a representative designated in advance, unless expressly agreed otherwise.
Article 12 – Payment
Unless otherwise agreed, amounts owed by the consumer are paid at the time of ordering through the payment methods offered at checkout.
The consumer has a duty to report inaccuracies in payment details provided or stated to the trader without delay.
Article 13 – Complaints procedure
Complaints about the performance of the contract must be submitted to the trader fully and clearly described within a reasonable time after the consumer has discovered the defects.
Complaints submitted to the trader will be answered within 14 days of receipt. If a complaint requires a foreseeably longer processing time, the trader will respond within 14 days with a confirmation of receipt and an indication of when the consumer can expect a more detailed answer.
If a complaint cannot be resolved by mutual agreement, a dispute arises that is subject to the dispute settlement rules in Article 14.
Article 14 – Disputes
Contracts between the trader and the consumer to which these Terms apply are governed exclusively by the laws of the Netherlands, even if the consumer resides abroad. Mandatory consumer protection provisions of the country in which the consumer resides remain unaffected.
The United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (Vienna Sales Convention) does not apply.
Article 15 – Intellectual property
All content on this website, including text, images, logos, product names and designs, is the property of Ciriel or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify or create derivative works from this content without our prior written permission.
Article 16 – Additional or deviating provisions
Additional provisions or provisions deviating from these Terms may not be to the detriment of the consumer and must be recorded in writing or in such a way that the consumer can store them in an accessible manner on a durable medium.
